    About

I came to the world of psychotherapy from a lifetime of working with people. I have experience with children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors and what I have loved most is being privileged to get to know the people I have served. I believe in the power of community and the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. I have seen the results firsthand, how much growth people are capable of within the therapeutic space and I believe to serve my community in this way is the absolute best use of my time.

    Experience

I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP). I am a certified trauma professional (CTP) and I work with a variety of clients providing a range of support for anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, and overall wellbeing. I utilize a holistic and integrative therapeutic orientation and draw from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), existential therapy, EFT/Tapping, EMDR, internal family systems theory (IFS) and more

    Approach To Therapy

When I work with clients, it is important to me that they feel safe and heard in the space we create together. I understand that psychotherapy is new to a lot of people, so we approach things at your own pace. We work together to look at the areas that are causing distress and create healthy coping strategies and approach these areas from new perspectives.
Building the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is a rewarding experience for both parties. Clients know they have a space to go to where they will be met with unconditional respect, compassion, and someone with the skills and desire to help. It is a safe space for clients to do the work and feel supported completely through that process
