Individual Counselling

We recognize that taking the first step is not easy. We understand that life can be challenging. It can be difficult to navigate emotions and confront experiences on our own and there seems to be many blocks to seeking therapy. We make it our mission to create a safe, non judgemental, person-centred environment where you can learn to feel comfortable exploring and sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings.

Why Individual therapy?

We recognize that taking the first step is not easy. We understand that life can be challenging. It can be difficult to navigate emotions and confront experiences on our own and there seems to be many blocks to seeking therapy. We make it our mission to create a safe, non judgemental, person-centred environment where you can learn to feel comfortable exploring and sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings.

Who we are

Our Approach

At Talking Works, we provide compassionate individual counselling to help you navigate life’s challenges, improve your mental health, and build a stronger relationship with yourself. We meet you where you are, whether you’re struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, and tailor our approach to your unique needs and goals.

We draw from a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), internal family systems (IFS), and solution-focused therapy (SFT), to provide the right support at the right time. Our goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered so you can move forward with confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of well-being.
