Couples Counselling
Why Couples Counselling?
You may be experiencing a time in your relationship where you feel disconnected from one another. The same patterns of communication and misunderstanding are continuing to repeat themselves, leaving you both feeling stuck. We want you to know that you are not alone. We believe that every couple deserves to have a strong, loving, and healthy relationship, however, we know that sometimes, despite our best efforts, relationships can become strained. Change happens in the context of a safe, trusting, and supportive relationship.

Who we are
Our Approach
At Talking Works, we use the proven framework of emotion focused therapy (EFT) to create lasting change by emphasising emotional awareness and processing to help you better understand, regulate, and share your emotions. EFT focuses on creating a secure and loving attachment between you and your partner to help you communicate your needs and desires in a way that fosters deeper intimacy and connection.
With that being said, this kind of therapy is not for everyone.
We need to create a safe environment in order to be able to do this type of deep, emotionally vulnerable work. This is not always possible if any of the following issues are present:
- Physical abuse
- Current ongoing deceptions and/or affairs
- Active substance misuse/addiction
Rates:
Couples Counselling:
