I come to this work not just as a therapist, but as someone who knows firsthand the profound impact a supportive therapeutic relationship can have. I believe deeply in people’s capacity to heal, change, and grow. With the right fit, therapy becomes more than a weekly conversation; it becomes a place where meaningful and lasting change can take root. I value authenticity, honesty and vulnerability. You come as you are, and I will meet you there with genuineness, empathy, and deep respect for you and your story. People are my passion. My goal is to walk with you through the challenges and help you build a life that feels meaningful, manageable, and uniquely yours.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University, Hamilton. I have extensive experience in 1:1 client care, having worked as a Rehabilitation Therapist with adults who sustained traumatic brain injuries and as a Behaviour Therapist with children on the Autism Spectrum. I now focus exclusively on my work as a therapist, regularly engage in supervision with a CRPO-certified supervisor, attend seminars, and earn continuing education credits to ensure I provide the most up-to-date, effective care for my clients.
My approach is trauma-informed and client-centred. While my approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I integrate a variety of modalities, tailoring my approach to each individual client
